This vertical garden with panels in stainless steel frames maintained by Hässelby Blommor gives a good understanding of how an irrigation system can work. The water is filled in the tank, covered in a copper box. In the tank there is a pump that is connected to a timer that controls when the water should go on and off. The pump is connected to a drip hose located along the top of the panels. The water penetrates into the panels and excess water is collected via the gutter back to the tank. Nutrition can be added to the tank when needed. Filling the tank in this case needs to be done monthly.
