C-Wrap Pavilion

Butong’s very first project, a pavilion that was used as a stage for musicians and also exhibited during the Stockholm Lighting Festival.

The pavilion consists of fourteen panels that make up seven segments of a decagon. The construction is self-supporting which is only held together by a number of steel details and stainless steel cable ties. Adjustable post shoes makes it possible for the pavilion to stand stable on uneven surfaces.

During the light festival, the pavilion was illuminated as a slowly beating heart.
