The first buton roof was ordered by Smålands nation, a long-standing student association in Uppsala.
The roof panels are mounted with a high accuracy with a tolerance of 1.3 millimeters attachment to support. Each panel is 800 mm wide with folded edges and an extra fold in the middle of the panel to give the panel extra strength.
