A campaign for drug awareness launched by the French Ministry of Culture and MILDT.
The created hallucinogenic room provided opportunities to discuss drugs with the visitor. The room, the light and the sound interact with visitors and provide a subjective experience through the visitor’s movement and attitude. Only one person at a time is allowed to be inside the room and they can stay as long as they wants. The installation consists of three connected areas, enjoyment, repetition and awakening. When you enter the first part, the door closes behind you and the visitor is given a calm and enjoyable experience through calm music and subtle light phenomena. In the second part, the room becomes narrower, the sound becomes harsher and the light alternates irregularly between heaven and hell. In the last part, visitors must trip off and a paralyzing bass sound makes you want to get out into reality again.
